The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, confirmed that in the coming weeks two boats loaded with humanitarian assistance will sail to Venezuela, as part of the solidarity mechanisms to assist the populations affected by the two serious earthquakes that shook the South American nation last June.
From the Sputnik Mundo web portal, the Mexican president ratified her administration's commitment to the sovereignty and self-determination of Latin American peoples in times of difficulty.
He also reiterated that the Aztec nation will continue to send food and basic supplies to the Cuban people on a continuous basis. The deployment of ships to Venezuelan shores seeks to support social care efforts after the double earthquake of last June 24.
