Puerto El Guamache mobilizes more than 2,500 tons of merchandise and promotes exports in Margarita

During the most recent operating day, the El Guamache port located on the south coast of Margarita Island, in Nueva Esparta, managed to mobilize 2,505 metric tons of various merchandise.
The maneuvers were directly supervised by the General Manager of the port terminal, Samir Al Attrach, together with his management team, guaranteeing safety, efficiency and quality standards in each of the entity's processes, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Transport.
As part of these operational advances, more than 147 thousand tons of seaweed were exported to international markets in Korea, Chile and China, boosting the region's commercial projection.
The international shipping operation was part of an intense day in which loading and unloading maneuvers were carried out on 347 containerized equipment.
