Sports Ministry refines details for Venezuela's participation in the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games

Representatives of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports (MinDeporte) held a general planning meeting for the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026.
The meeting was attended by the minister, Franklin Cardillo; the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, María Soto; and the Deputy Minister of High Performance, Henyelberth Herrera; the Head of Mission and the High Competence team, made up of planners, directors and specialists, who are making progress in organizing the route that the Venezuelan delegation will follow towards the highest South American sporting event, details in a press release the portfolio ministerial.
During the day, the main technical, administrative and logistical parameters necessary to ensure an organized and efficient participation of Venezuela in the event were reviewed. In the same way, the projection of athletes' participation in the women's and men's branches, the disciplines that will be present and the formation of the teams that will accompany the athletes, including coaches, medical staff and interdisciplinary teams, were evaluated.
One of the central points of the meeting focused on the operational plan for the mobilization and transfer of delegations, which takes into account the different headquarters and sub-headquarters where the competencies will be developed, with the objective of ensuring efficient logistics during each stage of Venezuelan participation
