The Basque Country sends two tons of humanitarian aid to Venezuela

A total of 2 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from the Basque Country to Venezuela, to support efforts to assist the population affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

According to information issued by the Ministry of Relations and Foreign Trade, “aid is part of the contributions made by the Basque people, companies, media, social organizations, public institutions and the Venezuelan community living in the Basque Country”.

The aid includes food, personal hygiene items, medical supplies, diapers, clothing and footwear for adults and children, children's games, mattresses and tents for assistance and shelter, dozens of packages of food for pets, and others.
