The Bolivarian Government ratified that the Morrocoy National Park is fully open and operational

The Bolivarian Government confirmed that the Morrocoy National Park is fully open and operational for the enjoyment of the population, while announcing the immediate installation of a technical and community work table to address the specific effects recorded on the Punta Brava bridge, a key road access that connects Tucacas with the beaches of the Falcón state.

The measure was announced by the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Nelson Rodríguez, after an inspection tour of the park and an assembly with tourist service providers from Cayo Punta Brava. The day was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, and the governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark.

“We want to make it absolutely clear to all the people of Venezuela that this beautiful Morrocoy National Park is completely open. We had an impact on the access to the Punta Brava bridge, but together with the inventiveness of our people and the contribution of all sectors, we will set up this working table to define alternative methods of access and ensure that visits are continuous,” said Minister Rodríguez.

Minister Cabello announced the installation of work tables with tourist service providers to arrive at a solution, in the midst of the reality of the Punta Brava bridge. “In the last few hours we have been thinking, discussing and proposing what solutions can be, so that in the short and medium term there will be the least tourist impact here in the Morrocoy National Park,” he said.

“We want to give peace of mind and certainty to our fishing village and to the tourist service providers of Punta Brava. The solutions are designed in a team where they are spokespersons and protagonists. You can count on the full support of the Government of Falcón to move forward in peace, unity and tranquility, overcoming any adversity,” said Clark.
