The National Orchestra System has 1,354,581 children and young people

A total of 1,354,581 children and young people receive free musical education throughout the country and are part of a national structure that consolidates symphonic and choral practice as a tool for integral development and inclusion.

The National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela is one of the most emblematic sociocultural works of the Venezuelan State, designed to systematize musical training for children and adolescents through symphony orchestras and choirs as instruments for humanistic realization and the construction of citizenship.

Under the motto “play, sing and fight”, the project has consolidated a national structure that today integrates:

12 academic programs.

One million 354 thousand 581 children and young people who receive free musical education, without social, territorial or economic distinction.

443 cores distributed throughout the country.

This inclusive model allows the Semillero de la Patria to showcase its talent on the most prestigious stages in the world, projecting Venezuelan cultural identity and demonstrating the transformative power of music as a tool for discipline, sensitivity and excellence.

The seed sown in 1975 by the teacher José Antonio Abreu blossomed in the destiny of millions. Every young person who has traveled through the System is today an example of sensitivity, discipline, dignity and excellence, values that reflect the essence of the Venezuelan in every corner of the planet.
