The racism and classism that characterizes the Venezuelan right wing and its media machinery became evident again after the double earthquake of last June 24, when the inhabitants of the buildings of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela (GMVV) were identified as the only victims of the earthquakes .

Longliners of the stature of Jaime Bayly stuck to this thesis without providing data and ignoring the fact that, according to government and private statistics, most of the affected buildings were built in years prior to the Bolivarian Revolution and by private companies.
