The Spanish health mission treats more than 200 people affected daily

More than 200 people have received medical care at the field hospital of the Spanish mission, located in the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park. The deployment of this temporary camp began last Saturday, June 3, to assist the population affected by the seismic events.

The head of the mission, Pilar Baselga, assured that, through Spanish cooperation, about 30 health professionals and 10 logistics specialists assist patients who are in this space set up as a temporary camp.

He also indicated that the office hours were established between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with an offer that includes the specialties of gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, traumatology, minor surgery, laboratory and X-ray service.

These actions are part of the deployment carried out through the humanitarian aid requested by the National Government from different nations of the world, whose objective is to provide the highest quantity and quality of care to Venezuelans affected after the earthquakes of last June 24.
