Tropical Depression Two moves to the United States without posing a danger to Cuba

The Forecasting Center of the Institute of Meteorology of
Cuba (ISMET) reported that Tropical Depression Two, in the northeastern Gulf of
Mexico, is moving north and then northwest towards the United
States (USA), without posing a danger to the Antillean nation.
According to the official report, on the morning of Sunday,
July 19, the low-pressure area showed greater organization in cloudy clouds and closed
circulation, which allowed it to be classified as a tropical depression.
The system has maximum sustained winds of 45
kilometers per hour, with higher gusts, and a central pressure of 1011
hectopascals, with a center located at 28.0 degrees North latitude and 85.3
degrees West longitude, about 250 kilometers south of Panama City. It moves slowly to the north-northwest at 4 kilometers per hour.
The ISMET specified that in the next 12 to 24 hours the
phenomenon will continue to move slowly over the north of the Gulf of Mexico,
with a gradual turn to the northwest and then to the west, reports TELESUR.
