Turkish Airlines plans to resume flights between Caracas and Istanbul in mid-August

Turkish Airlines reported that they plan to resume flights between Caracas and Istanbul in mid-August, after the temporary suspension due to the earthquakes recorded in Venezuela on June 24.

In an interview with a private media outlet, Türkiye's ambassador to Venezuela, Aydan Karamanoglu, specified that the suspension does not alter the airline's expansion plans in the South American nation, in addition to stressing that the company plans to increase weekly frequencies later this year or early 2027.

“There is good news that operations will probably start in the second half of August, and as soon as operations start, Turkish will return. This has been a technical suspension forced by the earthquake, but flights are continuing,” said the diplomat.
