Venezuela and Guinea-Bissau promote energy cooperation agenda

As part of the Diplomacy of Peace, the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Eldan Domínguez Fortty, held an important working meeting with the general director of Petroguin, Alfredo Malú, accompanied by authorities and representatives of the national hydrocarbons company.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged experiences and analyzed opportunities for cooperation in strategic areas related to the energy sector, with special emphasis on the training of human talent, technical training in hydrocarbons, the exchange of specialized knowledge and the strengthening of institutional capacities.

Ambassador Domínguez Forfty highlighted Venezuela's extensive experience in oil and ratified the willingness of the Bolivarian Government to continue promoting South-South cooperation initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of sister peoples in Africa and Latin America.

For his part, the CEO of Petroguin expressed his interest in exploring collaboration mechanisms with Venezuelan institutions for the training of Guinean technicians and professionals, as well as for the exchange of good practices in the management of the hydrocarbons sector.

In addition, the meeting made it possible to review possible areas of future cooperation in the field of energy, specialized training, knowledge transfer and development of joint projects that promote economic growth and well-being in both countries.

This meeting reaffirms the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Venezuela and Guinea-Bissau, as well as the mutual commitment to continue building spaces of understanding, solidarity and shared development for the benefit of their peoples.
