Venezuela and Hungary reinvigorate bilateral relations after the accreditation of a new ambassador

After the delivery of Credential Letters to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, the ambassador of Hungary in Ecuador concurrent to Venezuela, Dániel Szécsi, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Andrea Corao Fanía, at the Yellow House “Antonio José de Sucre”.
The meeting marked a significant step in strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries, which this year celebrate 56 years of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to reaffirm the call for peace and to reject unilateral coercive measures.
They also reviewed the main issues on the bilateral agenda, with an emphasis on the areas of youth, agriculture, tourism and foreign trade.
With this meeting, Venezuela and Hungary reaffirm their commitment to advance solid and mutually beneficial cooperation, in defense of multilateralism, peace and shared prosperity.
