Venezuela and Peru are moving forward in a new phase of relationship based on mutual respect

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia González, met this Thursday with his counterpart from Peru, Carlos Espá, as part of the process of re-establishing bilateral relations.

The meeting took place within the framework of the 81st session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) and was announced through a publication in his X account.

“We both agree on the importance of strengthening the historical ties that unite our peoples and of continuing to take solid steps in consolidating this new phase of relationship, based on mutual respect and the will to build a common development agenda for the Americas,” Plasencia said .
