Venezuela and Saint Lucia Strengthen Cooperation Ties and Reaffirm Principles of Diplomacy

With the firm intention of deepening bilateral relations and promoting mutual understanding in the Caribbean region, the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Saint Lucia, Leiff Escalona, held a productive institutional meeting with the president of the House of Assembly, Claudius J. Francis, and the president of the Senate of that nation, Alvina Reynolds.
During the parliamentary meetings, the Venezuelan diplomat explained the broad prospects for development, economic growth and investment attraction promoted by the National Government.
He also highlighted the significant efforts in the area of social cohesion and direct attention to the communities led by the President (E), Delcy Rodríguez, aimed at consolidating the integral well-being of the Venezuelan people.
For their part, the highest legislative authorities of Saint Lucia agreed on the importance of preserving peace, regional stability and constructive dialogue through parliamentary diplomacy as key tools for the progress of peoples.
In this context , Reynold recognized and positively valued female leadership in current geopolitics, extending her best wishes to the social management of President (E) Delcy Rodríguez.
At the close of the sessions, both parties reaffirmed their historic ties of brotherhood and their commitment to continue to articulate efforts under the principles of mutual respect and solidarity, central axes of Peace Diplomacy.
