The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia González, held a cordial meeting this Monday with Monsignor Bedros Manouelian, Bishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Venezuela, aimed at strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and brotherhood that unite the Venezuelan and Armenian peoples.
During the meeting, the valuable contribution of the Armenian community that has been living in Venezuela for decades, fully integrated into the social, cultural and economic development of the country, and constituted a natural bridge of rapprochement between the two nations, was especially highlighted.
Foreign Minister Plasencia recognized the solidarity expressed by the Church and the Armenian community with the Venezuelan people after the double earthquake of June 24.
Both parties expressed their willingness to continue promoting spaces for encounter, dialogue and cooperation that deepen ties between Venezuela and Armenia.
This meeting is part of the Bolivarian peace diplomacy, which governs the foreign policy of the Venezuelan Government.
