Venezuela defeated El Salvador 2-0 on the second day of Group A of women's soccer at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

At the Cibao FC stadium, in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela dominated but El Salvador resisted the attacks and took the tie to the break. In the 70th minute, Paola Villamizar placed 1-0 and six minutes later, Genesis Flórez extended the lead to sentence the final 2-0.

With this result, Venezuela added its second consecutive victory in group A and sealed its qualification for the next round.
