Venezuela exposes investment opportunities during Energy Forum in Houston

Venezuela, through a delegation of the Bolivarian Government, participated in the Strategic Forum E Empowering Venezuela: Energy, Investment & Opportunity, an event held during the IMAGE 2026 convention in Houston, United States, whose objective is to highlight the technical and operational growth options available in the domestic market.

The national representation was headed by the Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, and the Venezuelan Chargé d'Affaires in the United States, Johann Álvarez, who consolidated a work agenda with the American members.

“On behalf of our president Delcy Rodríguez, we are participating in the Empowering Venezuela: Energy, Investment & Opportunity Strategic Forum, within the framework of IMAGE 2026 in Houston,” Álvarez posted on his Instagram account.

During the conference, Minister Henao showed the participants “investment opportunities, the new regulatory framework and the advances in the reconstruction of the sector after the double earthquake of June 24”.

In addition, the spokespersons held bilateral meetings with U.S. authorities to advance the energy road map.

“We held high-level meetings with representatives of the U.S. Department of Energy, consolidating the joint work agenda that began in May,” Álvarez said.

He said that “we continue to work with technical rigor and strategic vision for the reconstruction and energy development of Venezuela.”
