Venezuela won the gold medal in the sport shooting discipline, men's ten-meter air gun modality, during its participation in the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

The Venezuelan trinomial, composed of Douglas Gómez Jr. , Diego Oduber and Rafael Ochoa, became champion of the specialty, registering a total of 1,683 points in the official competition. With this score, the national athletes beat the delegations of Mexico, which came in second place with 1,682 units, and Guatemala, which completed the podium with 1,680 points, in a close contest.

It should also be noted that the collective performance left a positive balance in the individual classification, where the criollos Douglas Gómez Jr. and Diego Oduber managed to seal their way to the Grand Individual Final of the discipline.
