Venezuela mourns the death of Commander Ramiro Valdés Menéndez and expresses its condolences to the people and Government of Cuba, as well as to President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

The statement was shared by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram account.

The text reiterated the solidarity of the Bolivarian Government at this time of mourning. “We extend our solidarity to the Cuban people and Government,” said the minister.
