A delegation from the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, led by the Deputy Minister for Agrarian Development and Land Management, Wilber Atahualpa Colmenarez Escalona, participated in the 2nd Great Agricultural Fair of the Republic of Congo.

The Venezuelan representative made a keynote speech entitled “Process and I earn more: Why export or sell raw if wealth is generated through the processing, revitalization and export of commercial crops (coffee, cocoa)? ”, in which the authorities presented on these national topics and answered the questions asked by the attendees.

At the end of the presentation, the Venezuelan delegation offered a specialty coffee tasting to the authorities and the public present, who verified the unique flavor of Venezuelan coffee and cocoa.

Venezuela and the Congo are megadiverse countries, and they share the defense of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, as well as concern for the effects of climate change on the planet.
