Venezuela participated in the official presentation of the Indian Renewable Energy Summit and Exhibition

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in India participated in the official presentation of the Indian Renewable Energy Summit and Expo (BRE Summit and Expo) 2026, held on July 23 in New Delhi, at the invitation of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energies of the Asian nation.

The event marked the official launch of the main international meeting organized by India on renewable energy and energy transition, scheduled to take place from November 2 to 5, at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center, in the Indian capital.

The event will bring together government representatives, international organizations, financial institutions, companies, investors, research centers and specialists from more than 130 countries, with the objective of promoting international cooperation, investment and technological exchange in the field of clean energy.

The ceremony was chaired by the Minister of New and Renewable Energy of India, Pralhad Joshi, who highlighted that this edition will bring together, for the first time, the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo, the 9th Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), consolidating a global platform for promote political dialogue, international cooperation, technological innovation and investments in clean energy.

During the day, the Indian authorities presented the main objectives of the summit, aimed at strengthening international alliances, accelerating the energy transition and expanding opportunities for cooperation in areas such as solar energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, manufacturing of renewable technologies and financing of sustainable projects.

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of India shared this space with embassies and high commissions accredited in New Delhi, reaffirming the interest of the South American country in following up on international initiatives related to sustainable development, technological innovation and cooperation in energy matters, as part of the efforts of Bolivarian diplomacy to strengthen relations with Republic of India, promote the exchange of experiences and deepen cooperation in strategic sectors of common interest.
