Venezuela receives 33.9 tons of humanitarian assistance sent by the Republic of Türkiye

The President in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, managed to receive 33.9 tons of humanitarian assistance sent by the Republic of Türkiye, aimed at strengthening emergency care after the earthquakes of June 24.

The supplies were distributed in the cooperation camp with Türkiye “Brisas de Maiquetía”, located in the parish of Urimare, La Guaira state, where technical and logistical support is organized for the affected communities.

The President in charge thanked her counterpart from the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the people of Türkiye for their immediate solidarity after the double earthquake that struck Venezuela on 24 June, stressing that the nation “has felt from the outset that friendly and constructive hand that accompanies in the midst of pain”.

From La Guaira, Rodrígue z pointed out that work is already under way to recover habitable housing, so that families can return safely to their homes.
