Venezuela revalidates title in Pan American Children's Baseball with a 6-3 win against the Dominican Republic

Venezuela won for the second consecutive year the title of the XIV Pan American Children's Baseball Tournament 11-12 years old, defeating the Dominican Republic 6-3 this Thursday.

In the final match held at the softball stadium number two of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, in Santo Domingo, the Venezuelan team once again beat the Dominicans in the contest for the championship, after being crowned champion in the 2025 edition by beating them 1-0.

William Heredia led the Venezuelan offensive with a three-run home run in the first inning against Dominican starter Jandel Soto, who took the loss.

Daniel Uricote also contributed to the win with a solo home run in the fourth episode, while pitcher José Moros was credited with the victory.
