Venezuela: spaces for meeting and cooperation with international institutions and NGOs

The Deputy Minister for Multilateral Issues of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Joaquín Pérez Ay, held meetings this Monday with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and the Forum of International Non-Governmental Organizations in Venezuela.
This was reported by the Venezuelan diplomat through his account on the social network X, where he noted that during the meetings they exchanged “perspectives on the work carried out by these organizations in the country”, in addition to exploring “opportunities to continue strengthening dialogue, coordination and coordination with the institutions of the Venezuelan State, depending on our national priorities.”
The Deputy Minister also thanked the multilateral entities for their solidarity, willingness and support with the Bolivarian people and Government after the double earthquake that occurred in the country on June 24.
“We value the contribution that these actors can continue to make, from their respective mandates and fields of action, to national recovery and reconstruction efforts, always with a long-term vision oriented to national development,” he said.
Pérez Aysaid that the Foreign Ministry will continue to “promote spaces for encounter and cooperation that allow us to add capacities and wills, based on respect, trust and the shared objective of contributing to the well-being of the Venezuelan people.”
