Venezuela strengthened bilateral ties with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain

Venezuela and Spain evaluated new areas of cooperation and mechanisms to strengthen their bilateral relations during a meeting between representatives of the national government and the new Spanish ambassador in Caracas, Álvaro Albacete.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the delegations discussed the assistance offered by Spain to accompany the reconstruction work following the damage caused by the earthquakes of last June 24, an initiative that was recognized by the Venezuelan authorities.

In addition, the parties analyzed alternatives to boost commercial exchange and expand business opportunities between the two countries.

The meeting made it possible to establish lines of work to deepen cooperation in areas of common interest and to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations.
