Venezuela successfully participates in the Ibero-American Film Festival in Namibia

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated with great success in the Ibero-American Film Festival in Namibia, presenting the film A Film Journey, directed by renowned filmmaker Carlos Daniel Alvarad, on a day that reaffirmed the power of culture as a tool for rapprochement between peoples and the strengthening of cooperative relations.
The screening attracted more than 120 attendees, filling the movie theater and with the presence of distinguished personalities, such as John Muruani, a figure with extensive experience in the trade union movement, as well as the parliamentarian Mbahimwa Fenny Tutjavi, the youngest member of the National Assembly of Namibia.
During the opening of the event, the Venezuelan ambassador to Namibia, Magaly Henríquez, stressed that her country's participation in this important festival constitutes an expression of the Bolivarian Government's permanent commitment to cultural diplomacy as an instrument to strengthen friendship, mutual understanding and cooperation between nations.
He also referred to the extraordinary tourist potential of Venezuela, stressing that its geographical diversity, the majesty of its landscapes, the wide gastronomic offer and the immense cultural diversity make the country a privileged destination for those who want to discover one of the nations with the greatest biodiversity and natural beauty in the world.
With this film presentation, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting its cultural heritage, its national identity and the values of peace, cooperation and friendship that guide its foreign policy.
