Venezuela won 216 medals at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games: 49 gold

The delegation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that participated in the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games won a total of 216 medals, with 49 gold, 70 silver and 97 bronze.
“With this historic milestone at the 25th Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, our delegation signed a monumental performance, decisively surpassing the golden harvests of San Salvador 2023 (32 gold) and Barranquilla 2018 (34 gold),” says the Ministry of Sport on its social networks.
The holder of the sports portfolio, Franklin Cardillo, welcomed the Creole representation and stressed that this result reflects the effort and dedication of each athlete.
For their part, the athletes expressed their satisfaction at having participated in the competition, in addition to extending their words of thanks for the support received.
