Venezuelan Ambassador presented Credentials to the President of the Republic of Seychelles

The
designated ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Feo Acevedo,
presented his Credential Letters to the President
of the Republic of Seychelles, Patrick Herminie, to make his accreditation official.
According to
information issued by the Ministry of Relations and Foreign Trade ,
the ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the
Diaspora of Seychelles, Barry Faure.
Both parties addressed issues of shared interest and explored new opportunities for exchange in strategic areas such as education, medicine, culture and sports, aimed at promoting direct rapprochement between the two peoples. In addition, they agreed on the early signing of a visa waiver agreement for official passports this year, a mechanism that will facilitate institutional mobility and the dynamism of diplomatic relations.
The Venezuelan representative reaffirmed his nation
's strong support for initiatives that defend the causes and priorities of developing
countries, including the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index
(IVM) promoted by Seychelles in favor of Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
For his part, President Herminie expressed his words of solidarity with the Venezuelan people after the earthquakes that occurred on June 24, a gesture that was deeply grateful on behalf of the Venezuelan people and of President Delcy Rodríguez.
