Venezuelan deaf-Olympic 3×3 basketball team reaches the semifinals in the Serbian World Cup

The Venezuelan 3×3 basketball team for the deaf secured their ticket to the semifinals by starring in a high-intensity day after winning against Slovenia and Ukraine in the second round of the World Cup of the discipline, which will be held from September 1 to 5 in Zlatibor, Serbia.

The national team, made up of Félix Perdomo, Jhonny Jiménez, Bryan Catarí and Rodrigo Ríos, first faced Slovenia, represented by Andraz Andrejc, Jaka Markovič, Lazar Tanasijevič and Mars Podgorsék.

Now, the national team will face Team 1 from Ukraine, in a duel, with the dream of advancing to the grand final of the World Cup tournament for the deaf.
