Venezuelan delegation participates in Portugal's Festa do Avante

A Venezuelan delegation participates in the Festa do Avante, a political-cultural event organized by the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), which brings together representatives of 46 international delegations.

Jocsen Alvarado, Teresa Carrasquel and Richard Benavides are part of the representation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) at this meeting, considered one of the main political and cultural events in Portugal.

During the day, the Venezuelan delegation confirmed its support for President Delcy Rodríguez, as well as its commitment to actions aimed at caring for families affected by the double earthquake and advancing the delivery of housing.

He also highlighted support for the energy agreement and the defense of Venezuela's sovereignty over its natural resources, in addition to the agenda developed by the PSUV through house-to-house deployment.

At the central event, the participating delegations expressed their support for the Bolivarian Revolution and denounced the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.

In this regard, the general secretary of the Portuguese Communist Party, Paulo Raimundo, made an explicit call for solidarity with Venezuela and for the prompt release of President Maduro.
