Venezuela's participation in the Congo Agricultural Fair opens up new opportunities for cooperation

The delegation of the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, led by the Deputy Minister for Agrarian Development and Land Management, Wilber Atahualpa Colmenarez Escalona, successfully completed its participation in the 2nd Great Agricultural Fair of the Republic of Congo, in the exhibition park of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Bambou-Mingali, Djoué-Léfini Department.
The closing ceremony, chaired by the Congolese Minister of Agriculture and
Livestock, Paul Valentin Ngobo, was marked by the recognition
of the authorities present to the local and international producers who participated in the Fair.
Certificates were also awarded to small
producers who received training from the Academy of
Agricultural Entrepreneurs (AEA).
At the closing, the Venezuelan delegation exchanged with the Congolese
minister about the prospects and potential of cooperation in agricultural
matters, taking into account the Memorandum of Understanding signed
during the Joint Commission held on August 2 and 3, 2023, in Caracas.
Venezuela's participation in the Gran Feria opens up new
opportunities for cooperation in agricultural matters and leaves
coffee, both gourmet and specialty, and fine aroma cacao, very well positioned as
products that place the South American nation in the top 5 for their quality and processing.
