Water treatment plant inaugurated in Puerto La Cruz to benefit more than 6,900 families

The mayor of the Sotillo municipality, Jesús Marcano Tábata, inaugurated the water purification plant located in the Las Delicias sector of Puerto La Cruz, in the state of Anzoátegui, which will directly optimize the supply of the vital resource.

The activity was accompanied by the local government cabinet and the spokespersons of the Comuna Unidos Las Delicias. This civil infrastructure achievement corresponds to the funding of the second winning project of the National Popular Youth Consultation.

The resources allocated allowed for the comprehensive equipment and start-up of the plant, consolidating a victory for popular power that will have a positive impact on the quality of life of more than 6,900 families in the region.

Marcano Tábata emphasized the importance of self-management and communal empowerment framed in the guidelines of the National Executive.

“We continue to fulfill the commitment made to our people, guaranteeing concrete actions thanks to the initiative of the National Government led by President (E) @ delcyrodriguez v through the vote, communities choose priority projects for their territorial scope for the optimization of public services in the town,” he said.

The formal delivery of these facilities was carried out under the guidelines of the National Plan for the Seven Transformations (7T) promoted by the central government and supported in the entity by Governor Luis José Marcano, reaffirming the coordination of efforts to provide immediate solutions to the needs of the communities of Sotillo.
