We are free, sovereign and independent! Pueblo reaffirms its commitment to the defense of the Homeland

Venezuelan women mobilized this Tuesday to reaffirm to the world that Venezuela is a free, sovereign and independent nation, while ratifying their commitment to the defense of the Homeland.

During the Great Bicentennial March of the Sword of Peru in Caracas, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed with the People that Venezuelans have the firm conviction to live in peace and freedom.

In addition, he stressed that today the threats of imperialism have increased, because it is no longer a secret that they want to steal Venezuela's natural resources.

For his part, in the face of these aggressions, President Nicolás Maduro affirmed that Venezuela will continue to be a country of peace. “Our goal of our project is peace, but it's not just any peace. It is not the peace of slaves (...) it is the peace of free, rebellious, independent and sovereign peoples”.

In this great event, the Head of State also sealed the commitment of Bolivarians to the defense of peace and freedom with an oath that closed with a call to be prepared and to remain alert to act in any scenario that may arise against the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
