Bolivarian Government oversaw medical care provided to families in temporary camps

The Minister for Health, Carlos Alvarado, led a supervisory tour of the temporary camp installed in the U.E.E. La Guaira, in the state of the same name, to verify the comprehensive care devices available for families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

According to Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV) during the visit, the holder of the health portfolio verified the functioning of the medical services deployed in the safe space. He also supervised the delivery of medicines, epidemiological control and the supply of food, drinking water and essential services for sheltered families.

In the same way, the deployment included the participation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the godmothers and political leaders of the Government of the State of La Guaira, with supervision aimed at sports and recreational activities aimed at emotional well-being, in addition to verifying the advances in housing solutions under the commitment of the Venezuela Renace Plan.

The minister spoke directly with the families, listened to their requirements and ratified the State's support until the safe resettlement of each household was achieved.

For her part, the Deputy Minister of Integral Health, Dr. Rosalbina Hurtado, led a day of visiting and accompanying the Monumental Transitional Camp, located in Caracas, with the purpose of closely evaluating the conditions of the place and verifying the effectiveness of the medical approaches installed.
