The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, November 4th, referring to the case of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) official in La Guaira, linked to the extremist Maria Corina Machado, said that “this lady got out (of her car) to make a show.”

He said that the official of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in La Guaira was carrying out his mission, “and these people come by the shoulder breaking traffic laws and the guard orders to stop, since they must travel where they should.”

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 588, he stressed that the official claimed that “he didn't know who the lady was, a madwoman and all he told her was to circulate. You circulate, we have nothing to talk about and that's how it was.”

“They take the photo because they want to harm the guard, believing that this denotes authority. They don't know us, being polite doesn't take away from being courageous, at all, but they do it with the intention of harming, because she tried to do it in another unit, to get out and the guards stepped aside and the photo came to nothing,” he whipped.

He added that Machado got out of his car on purpose “at a post that is on the highway and when the guards saw her they turned away, so she returned. It was the intention, but that's not how it helps, because the Armed Forces know what it has to do.”
