The Mayor's Office of Caracas, through Gas Caribe, restored direct gas service after completing comprehensive rehabilitation work in its distribution system, providing direct care to more than 96 families who live in the OPPE 8 urban development, located in the parish of Santa Teresa, located in the capital city.
The technical teams carried out the complete replacement of 96 stopcocks, the replacement of copper pipes and the technical adaptation of the supply networks, according to the Mayor's Office of Caracas on its Instagram account.
After successfully completing the rectification and safety testing phases, PDVSA Gas was formally notified of the opening of the service, restoring peace of mind to families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.
This restitution is part of the total reconstruction of urban planning by the Mayor's Office of Caracas, a project that has already achieved 43% physical progress, as part of the Venezuela Renace Plan.
