Comprehensive Development Plan for the old Caracas-La Guaira highway will be presented on October 31

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that by Friday, October 31, 2025, the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Caracas-La Guaira Highway will be presented.
He specified that the proposal will be prepared by the authorities of the Capital District and the municipalities of the sector, with the objective of strengthening connectivity and boosting economic activity in the region.
During the productive day in the Agrotourism District “El Gran Topo”, the community spokespersons indicated that, through the Government of Caracas, the Tourist Route is being promoted with the provision of quadmotorcycles, as part of the activation of recreational and heritage spaces.
In this context, the head of state emphasized the role of the “El Gran Topo” Commune in reviving its production, in addition to urging its members to prepare for the Fourth National Popular Consultation, scheduled for November 23, in which two communal projects will be elected. “These are two projects, community members from here, it's a great opportunity to close this year with force, to go out and vote.”
It was also noted in the activity that this community will have the support of Banco de la Comuna to provide financing to service providers and entrepreneurs, with a view to strengthening agricultural and tourism production, in order to improve rural roads and expand the logistics capacities of the Caracas-La Guaira axis.
