FUNVISIS recorded 118 earthquakes in Venezuela between August 21 and 27

The Venezuelan Seismological and Tsunami Warning Service recorded 118 earthquakes between August 21 and 27, 2026, with quantities ranging from 1.2 to 5.1.
The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) reported that the earthquakes were located between latitude 5° to 14° north and longitude 59° to 74° west.
Of the total reported, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the highest concentration of earthquake movement was of magnitude less than 3.0, totaling 82 events; 32 earthquakes between 3.0 and 4.0; three between 4.0 and 5.0; and one greater than or equal to 5.0.
In the Central Region, 60 events were counted, in the West 36 and in the East 22.
