INTT enables the management process of the Anchi-Larga permit for cargo transportation

The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) enabled the decentralized management of the Wide-Long Permit, an official document that authorizes the circulation of heavy-duty vehicles that exceed the dimensions or weights established in Venezuelan Standards COVENIN 614/97 and 2404/97.

As a result of this measure, users can process the authorization directly at the agency's offices closest to their home throughout the country.

The institution published through its official channels that obtaining this permit is mandatory for transport units whose load exceeds 4.00 meters wide, 25.00 meters long, 4.10 meters high or 48 tons in weight.

In addition, a special route study is required in cases that require a technical report backed by certified engineering companies, according to the guidelines of the Transportation Directorate of the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation or the Engineering Management of the INTT.

The procedure consists of four operational steps. First, the user must present the vehicle at the selected INTT headquarters for the physical technical inspection. Subsequently, you must enter the official web portal through the Single Procedures Form, select the Long Wide Permit option in the Land Transport section and register the same office where the inspection was carried out.

The corresponding fees are then paid according to the requested period of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Finally, the agency evaluates the documentation and issues the document printed on security paper.
