Ministry of Industries and National Trade evaluates the potential of the cement sector

The Minister of Popular Power for Industries and National Commerce, Luis Antonio Villegas, held a working table with the plant presidents of the Socialist Cement Corporation (CSC), to evaluate the operational capacities of the cement industry and its contribution to national development plans and infrastructure.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed the national production plan in order to prioritize attention to consolidating import substitution in the construction materials sector that contributes to the Venezuela Renace Plan for the well-being of the people.
In addition, the working table allowed us to discuss coordination mechanisms with the private sector and strategic investors, aimed at optimizing distribution lines, which guarantees the continuous supply of key inputs in public and community works in the country.
This planning day is part of the institutional actions to energize the national productive apparatus, promoting the use of Venezuelan raw materials and strengthening the real economy.
