Miranda Government maintains preventive deployment and monitoring of rivers after heavy rains

Given the heavy rainfall recorded in the last few hours, the Government of Miranda and the Mayor's Office of the Acevedo municipality, in Caucagua, are actively deploying preventive action in vulnerable areas of the jurisdiction, with specialized equipment that permanently monitors the levels of the El Café and Capaya rivers.

Mayor José Miguel Oliveros traveled with the municipal management teams to the affected communities of the El Café parish, including El Morrito, Rita Julia, Santa Elena and Quebrada Fofa, to closely accompany the inhabitants and assess the damage, the Government of Miranda reported on its website.

“In the most difficult moments we will be present, working together with the people and providing answers. We won't leave them alone!” , he said.

He assured that the regional and municipal administration is still on alert to protect citizens.

For his part, the governor of the Mirandina entity, Elio Serrano, ratified institutional support for Acevedo's families, coordinating immediate and coordinated actions with local governments to mitigate any eventuality derived from weather conditions.
