In a joint deployment to assist families affected by the recent earthquakes, Bolivarian Government authorities inspected this Sunday the rescue work and the Decent and Safe Clearance Operation in OPPE urban areas in the state of La Guaira.
The operations, carried out with heavy machinery in coordination with Civil Protection, the Armed Forces and international rescuers, prioritize access to critical points for locating survivors.
The inspection was led by the Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, engineer Juan José Ramírez, together with the Minister of Habitat and Housing, architect Paola Posani.
The authorities described the event as an unprecedented tragedy and stressed that the government's response has focused on technical and scientific evaluations of the structures.
They also expressed their support for the immediate actions announced by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, such as the opening of temporary camps and the construction of more robust contingency complexes, in addition to the large-scale reactivation of housing projects for affected families.
The authorities ratified the commitment of the national Government to maintain technical and human deployment to ensure comprehensive care for affected families.
