Bolivarian Government inspected rehabilitation works at Hospital de Maracay

Authorities in the state of Aragua inspected the progress of optimization plans at the Maracay Central Hospital (HCM), where comprehensive rehabilitation is being carried out in the areas of Nephrology and Pediatrics to raise health standards and guarantee decent and free care for patients.

During the technical control day, the placement of 900 square meters of waterproofing was verified in the Pediatric Emergency Rooms, specialized offices and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), in order to ensure aseptic spaces.

In the Nephrology Service, advances were made in general beautification, wall curling and landscaping. The intervention also includes comprehensive air conditioning, internal and external lighting, and the provision of medical supplies to optimize care response time.

The tour was led by the Secretary General of Government, Belén Arteaga, representing Governor Joana Sánchez. The civil works are carried out in compliance with the fourth strategic line of the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T).
