CAPRILES' CALL TO “UNLOAD THE ARRECHERA”

  • On the night of April 14, 2013, after not knowing the electoral results that were unfavorable to him, Henrique Capriles Radonsky starred in a new episode of violence and incitement to commit crimes: the call to the streets to “unload the rush”. Another page of the extreme opposition file that was inscribed with the blood of innocent lives.
  • Capriles launched his aggressive speech to carry out assaults that degenerated into acts of vandalism against hospitals, transport units, educational centers, headquarters of the Bolivarian missions; as well as facilities of the CANTV, CNE and the PSUV. Actions clearly defined in national and international legislation as hate crimes.
  • The incitement to violence resulted in the installation of barricades and the destruction of public and private property, blinding the lives of more than 13 people in their wake.
  • In the midst of this onslaught of Creole fascism, seven people were killed by firearms, two children by being run over and another as a result of a severe beating.
  • There were also 62 injured, including 21 police officers. A total of 35 health centers of the Barrio Adentro Mission, 9 State public offices, 3 headquarters of the Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), 7 headquarters of the National Electoral Council (CNE), 18 alternative radio stations and 39 centers of the Mercal Food Distribution Network, PDVAL and Food Houses were besieged and destroyed throughout the country.
  • For his part, the communicator Nelson Bocaranda spread on Twitter the false type of information of an alleged “fraud”. In his account with 1.3 million followers, he announced: “I am informed that, in the CDI of La Paz, in “Green Rooster, there are hidden ballot boxes and the Cubans don't let them get out of there.”
  • Meanwhile, Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, national coordinator of the Democratic Unity Bureau (MUD), released a false extra official CNE bulletin, which named Capriles the winner. This caused a false expectation of triumph, which served as the psychological ploy necessary to incite hatred, set fire and devastate human beings in their wake.
  • That same night, in the edo. Zulia, an opponent, “unloading his rush”, caused 16 people to run over with his truck at full speed, leaving three dead, including two children.
  • The victims of these attacks were:
    • José Luis Ponce Ordoñez, 45 years old: on April 15, he was admitted to the Piedra Azul Comprehensive Care Center (CDI) without vital signs, after being hit by a bullet fired by violent opponents.
    • Yosiris del Valle Reyes Rangel, 44 years old: Like Ponce, he died from gunshot wounds while together defending the facilities of the Piedra Azul Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), located in La Limonera, Baruta municipality. Both received the Order of the Liberator of Venezuela, post-mortem.
    • King David Chacín González, 11; María Victoria Báez Rodríguez, 12; and Johan Hernández, 22: They were hit by a truck that hit them, when they were celebrating the triumph of Nicolás Maduro, on the main avenue of the La Música neighborhood in Maracaibo.
    • In total, 13 people were injured. King David and Johan died that day. María Victoria died on April 21 after having her leg amputated and spending seven days in intensive care.
    • Luis Eduardo García Polanco, 24 years old: he received a bullet impact in the face that caused his death instantly when he expressed, with a group of young people from the PSUV, his rejection of the call to “arrechera”, around the CNE of Maracaibo.
    • Hender José Bastardo Cabrera, 21 years old: he was shot several times while riding his motorcycle in the city. La Morita de Cumanacoa, edo. Sucre.
    • Keler Enrique Guevara Garizabal, 23: an officer of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), died when he was shot in Barrio Bolívar, Santa Teresa sector of San Cristóbal, edo. Tachira.
    • Johnny Pacheco, 37, a member of the PSUV who accompanied Yosiris Reyes and José Luis Ponce Ordoñez, in the defense of the CDI of Piedra Azul, received a bullet impact in the head while driving his vehicle in that sector.
    • Omar Gerardo Rico Martínez, 39, was beaten by supporters of Capriles Radonsky. After being in a coma for 23 days, he died at the Peñuela Ruíz Social Security Hospital in San Cristóbal, edo. Tachira.
