On January 15, 2010, from the Federal Legislative Palace in Caracas, the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, warned about the historic surrender of the Venezuelan bourgeoisie.

“In the Venezuelan case there is a strange cause injected from outside and inside the problem is political. And all this supported by the Venezuelan bourgeoisie, by the lackeys traitors to the Fatherland, fifth columns that have certainly not hesitated to subordinate themselves to the interests of the empire,” said the Commander.

Chávez criticized that no leader of the bourgeoisie ever speaks out against the violation of Venezuelan airspace, “because what they want is to hand over Venezuela Oh! If an invasion came for them, it would be the best thing.”

He stressed that it would not be the first case in Latin America, “that the lackay bourgeoisie encourages foreign intervention, because they are not interested in the Homeland at all, absolutely not at all.”
