On September 11, 2008, Commander Hugo Chavéz, during a mass event from the state of Carabobo, warned that the North American empire was planning a coup against the Bolivarian Revolution, while sending a strong message to the United States government at the time:

“Go to hell with Yankee shit because here there is a decent people, here there is a people worthy of shit Yankees, go to hell a hundred times, here are the sons of Bolivar, the sons of Guaicaipura, the sons of Túpac Amaru, and we are determined to be free,” he emphasized.

He assured that revolutionaries will defend our Peoples with dignity until the last consequences.
