Chávez Undefeated: Here is a people that defends its sovereignty

Commander Hugo Chávez assured that the People are willing to defend their sovereignty against imperial attacks.

“If the world wants to see a people willing to demonstrate it, willing to defend the sacred sovereignty of their soil, the sacred sovereignty of their Constitution and laws, the sacred sovereignty of their history, the sacred sovereignty of their present, the sacred sovereignty of their future, even come so that they can see the Venezuelan people willing to defend their sovereignty whatever the cost,” he emphasized Chávez on January 23, 2005 from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

In this regard, he stressed that Venezuela has dignity and demanded that all governments in the world, all global and international institutions, respect the country's sovereignty.

“We warn that we are willing to respect that sovereignty in different ways and for this reason we Venezuelans and Venezuelans are united,” he said.
