Chávez Undefeated: Let's defeat the vendepatria with popular mobilization!

On May 24, 2008, from Caparo, in the state of Mérida, Commander Hugo Chávez Frías assured that “the homelands” are inspired by sabotage.

“Hopefully they would forget about coup adventures, but they continue to encourage them, or some continue to think that Chávez must be killed, some continue to think that we must sabotage food and electricity, fill Venezuela with terror to get out of Chávez,” he said.

In that sense, he assured that they will not achieve it “either by one way or the other (...) thanks to God and thanks to the Venezuelan people who now..., I am a soldier, (...) of course I am at the other end of the country”, and explained that his side is one of those who “give our lives for the Fatherland”.

In this regard, the leader called for mobilization so that “we defeat the homelands, I call for popular mobilization, for the organization of the People, the workers, the working class, the peasants, the Peoples, the Community Councils, the technical energy tables that are here, the Popular Power, the military united with the People, the Government, everyone doing their job, everyone occupying their space”.
