On September 29, 2012, from Guarenas, Miranda State, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, led a massive event where he urged the Chavista ranks to maintain cohesion and political clarity in the face of the pretensions of the right.

During his speech, the president stressed the importance of self-criticism within public management and reaffirmed his commitment to overcoming failures in services and social care.

Chávez recognized the population's demands for basic services and housing, assuring that his administration worked tirelessly to provide effective answers. “I am one of the biggest self-critics of this government that I lead. There are reasons, for many faults, for many problems... we are working to solve them, and we are solving them, and we will solve them; because they are the problems of the people,” he said.

The revolutionary leader also warned about the rhetoric of the bourgeoisie sectors, pointing out that their promises to maintain social programs lack sincerity. “One would have to be very naive to believe the story of the bourgeoisie, that story they carry that they are going to support the missions. This is a wasp people that woke up and does not allow themselves to be deceived,” he emphasized, stressing that love and identity with the people are the exclusive engine of the socialist model.

The Commander projected the future of the nation as a process of continuous construction to consolidate the "New Homeland. Chávez defined the relationship between leadership and the popular base as an indestructible force: “It is a very great love that brought us here and it is a very great love that keeps us here and will allow us to continue opening the doors of the future.”
