The National Institute for Integral Agricultural Health (INSAI) will shorten time and eliminate unnecessary transfers from producers, by simplifying the procedure for reviewing draft labels.

This was announced this Friday by the Minister for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladímir Padrino López, who explained that the user will be able to carry out the procedure electronically and receive notifications by email about the status of the procedure. In the coming days, the requirements and addresses will be published on the official pages of INSAI.

“Coming so far to facilities to deliver documents and in addition to manual procedures, a completely anachronistic thing,” said the holder of the agricultural portfolio, who also reported that in the month of September the country will have a new Single National Comprehensive Health Registry and announced the easing of the Free Sale Certificate (CLV).

With a single registration, the producer will be able to manage multiple requests to the INSAI without having to upload the documentation repeatedly, significantly speeding up response times.

The minister also informed that INSAI will be interconnected with the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) and the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (SAREN). He explained that this integrated system seeks to facilitate the procedures for the producer.

“It is not the State acting as a retaining wall for citizens to exercise their economic rights, it is the facilitating State,” he said, at the same time that he stated that in this firm step towards simplifying procedures and modernizing one of the institutions necessary for the national producer, work is being done to review the procedure for land and farm inspections.

“We are transforming absolutely everything for the benefit of you, producers in the country,” said Padrino López.

It should be noted that INSAI, an entity attached to the Ministry for Productive Agriculture and Lands, is the body of the Venezuelan State responsible for guaranteeing plant health, animal health and epidemiological surveillance throughout the national territory, in addition to regulating animal health and phytosanitary regulations.
